SLP-A Role Description

As a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLP-A), you will function as part of a multidisciplinary group to supply direct patient therapy to attend to feeding, language, speech, autism, and other areas of developing special needs also delays.

Qualifications Include
SLP-A Certification

State required SLP-A certification or working towards accreditation, having met all of the requirements for certification

Supervised Experience

Successful completion of a minimum of one hundred (100) hours of supervised fieldwork experience or its clinical experience equivalent with 1 year of verifiable, supervised professional experience within the last 3 years

Knowledge & Passion

Understanding of pediatric development with a passion for making a difference in the lives of children

Skills

Ability to perform single, technical tasks with the potential to upgrade skills to meet changing job conditions
